Things to Note

There are three ASP Handcuff Training basic standards:

1. The techniques work on the street, not just in the classroom.

2. The techniques are court-defensible and are backed by the nation’s most experienced use-of-force consultants.

3. The program is administratively feasible for use in a contemporary private security or law enforcement agency.

These are physically demanding courses, and each student must be able to participate without restrictions.

No firearms or ammunition are allowed in the classroom at any time! All firearms safety rules must be followed.

This is a competency based course! You must pass qualification & a written test! Mere attendance doesn't count towards completion.

The course is 4 hours total.
